Position Title: Temporary FT Clinical Educator-Washington, DC

EngageCE, a division of PDI, Inc. provides Clinical Educator services for our academic, healthcare and pharmaceutical clients. At EngageCE our Clinical Educators develop partnerships with healthcare practitioners to introduce protocols into their day-to-day processes that have the ability to positively impact patient care. Our Clinical Educators work directly with doctors and their staff delivering education that leads to improved medical care for patients. It is our primary focus on changing behavior that makes EngageCE different.

We are currently seeking a temporary full-time experienced registered nurses, or trained medical professionals to implement an educational program in primary care offices in the District of Columbia. Your role will include education of physicians and staff. This is a field-based position that will require management of a territory.

Position Description:

  • § Enroll physicians in the program
    § Meet or exceed program metrics and objectives
    § Deliver clinical educational services and programs to healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes in a variety of disease states with the target audience being the under-diagnosed, misdiagnosed, or under-treated
    § Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals
    § Provide patient education
    § Perform practice assessments, develop educational plans, implement plans, evaluate practice adoption of new skills and confirm embedded behavior change
    § Work with the project team to evaluate and improve the educational service, and communication materials.
    § Act as liaison between the physician community and project team.
    § Maintain consistency with regulatory requirements, policies and procedures
    § Document activities into a web-based CRM system
    § Provide territory progress updates and status reports to manager
    § Analyze territory business performance and adjust direction and goals with management input
    § Manage administrative responsibilities, including, pre-call planning, territory management and high quality reports and paperwork
    § Demonstrate EngageCE key attributes 

Position Requirements:

  • § Trained medical professional, such as Registered Nurse with license in good standing, pharmacist or other.
    § 4-year Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
    § 3-5 years clinical experience
    § Strategic thinking & planning skills and excellent organizational skills
    § Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening, presentations)

    § Confident and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
    § Ability to motivate and persuade others
    § Conveys clinical competence
    § Willing to learn new skills
    § Highly flexible and supports change
    § Results-oriented and resilient

    § Willingness to travel to provide geographic coverage of targeted offices, meetings and events
    § Overnight travel for training
    § PC skills required
    § Valid driver’s license
